Bar to clear: Common App essay plus Purdue questions, 250-650 words
Purdue emphasizes overall grades, grades in math/science/core coursework, course rigor, trends, and preparedness for engineering.
Bar to clear: College of Engineering middle 50% GPA: 3.81-4.00
Purdue expects SAT or ACT scores for freshman admission, and international applicants may also need English proficiency scores; scores are part of holistic review.
Bar to clear: SAT 1370-1510 or ACT 31-34; IELTS 6.5+ or TOEFL iBT 88+ if needed
