The department does not request a portfolio or work-sample submission for MS in CS admission; evaluation focuses on academic records and written materials instead.

This is a primary screen: applicants must show strong undergraduate preparation, and the MS in CS requires a minimum 3.20 undergraduate GPA to be considered.

GRE is not required, but international applicants must submit English-proficiency scores unless exempt; the Graduate College also publishes score minimums and the department can require tests for admission.
