No portfolio or prior work-sample portfolio is requested for Computer Science master’s admission.

The program requires an academic statement of purpose and gives it very serious consideration when judging fit, goals, and motivation for graduate study.
Bar to clear: Required 1,000-word academic statement of purpose
The department reviews transcripts to judge whether the applicant has a strong academic basis for graduate work in computer science or a closely related field.
Bar to clear: Strong transcript in CS/math/engineering; no minimum GPA stated
GRE General scores are not accepted. TOEFL or IELTS matter only for applicants who are not exempt from English-proficiency testing; the M.S.E. has a speaking minimum if a test is required.
