No portfolio or creative/work-sample submission is used; extra-curricular activities and unrelated materials are not part of the selection criteria.
Bar to clear: Not used by this program
Oxford reads the UCAS personal statement for genuine interest in computing and maths, academic motivation, and evidence of subject engagement; it should be mostly academic in content.
Bar to clear: UCAS statement focused ~80% on academic interests, abilities, and achievements
Past exam records and predicted/achieved qualifications are central; the course looks for very strong mathematics preparation and academic ability/potential.
Bar to clear: A*AA, including A*A in Maths and Further Maths if available
TMUA is required and used to help decide shortlisting; non-native English speakers must also meet Oxford's English-language requirement where applicable.
