Computer Science
Admission criteria
Used mainly in TCAS Round 1 Portfolio and some special/direct rounds rather than across all rounds. The Sriracha Computer Science department states TCAS1 applicants must submit a portfolio related to the curriculum, together with required GPAx and high-school subject credits. For the main admissions flow, portfolio is not the dominant basis in score-based rounds.
No separate Statement of Purpose or admissions essay requirement was found in the official Computer Science bachelor admissions criteria reviewed. If applying through a portfolio-style round, motivation may be implied inside the portfolio materials, but there is no clearly stated standalone SOP component for this program.
Academics matter in every official route found. KU TCAS round guidance says Round 3 uses GPAX 6 semesters plus required test scores according to the major. Current quota criteria for Computer Science show a GPAX minimum (for example 2.75 in one KU TCAS69 quota listing) and GPAX carries explicit weight in selection. The department also requires GPAx and specific high-school subject-credit backgrounds for portfolio entry.
Test scores are a major decision factor in standard TCAS selection. KU's current TCAS calendar states Round 3 uses GPAX together with TGAT, TPAT, and A-Level scores as specified by the major. Current KU quota criteria for Computer Science assign large shares to test scores, for example TGAT1 English communication 40% and TPAT3 35% in one KU TCAS69 quota listing; earlier KU Computer Science Round 3 criteria also weighted TGAT and A-Level heavily.
